A graduate of San Jose State University, with a B.S. in Aeronautics. He holds all Flight & Ground instructor ratings , ATP, A&P mechanic certificate with Inspection Authorization. Dean has over 45 yrs. experience in the aviation industry beginning as an Aerodynamic Flight Test Engineer with the Boeing Aircraft Company, Bush Pilot - Aircraft mechanic in Alaska, Flight Instructor & Charter pilot, Regional Airline Captain, & currently a Major Airline Captain & Check Airman ( Retired ) . With over 30,000  flight hrs. He holds Type Ratings on Citation 510, Citation 525/M2, Challenger 601, GIV, Be350, DeHavilland Dash-7, Boeing 737 , 727 , 757 , 767 , 777 & 747 aircraft.
